The author

Everyone knows me as Tom, but my name is Roberto Tomesani. I was born in Bologna, in 1958. My passion was always photography and speeding around in my car, then after a bad accident and six months reflecting in bed, I understood the real values in life. I have always loved my city, despite the everchanging climate, I always use my bike, everyday – even on holiday. With the association Salvaiciclisti, I participate in many projects, such as teaching adults to cycle. I enjoy accompanying people around, telling stories about this land. Cycle Stories around Emilia Romagna (2022) is my first publication.
