Piergiacomo Petrioli

Piergiacomo Petrioli, PhD, is art historian. His fields of research include Italian Renaissance Art, Italian Women Artists, History of Art Criticism. He has taught History of Art Criticism at the University of Florence, and Art History for many American study-abroad programs, including those of Dartmouth College, CET Program, University of Oregon, and Brown University. He is currently teaching for Spring Hill College in Bologna and Boston University in Padua. He's the author, together wit R. A. Smith, of The Eloquent Artist (Pendragon, 2024).
